Harry Highpants honoured with
White Raven selection

Each year the language specialists (Lektoren) at the International Youth Library (IYL), in Munich, Germany, select newly published books from around the world that they consider to be especially noteworthy. These books are then given prominence at the Bologna book fair, before elbowing their way into the White Ravens online catalogue, where they can compete with the 3557 books already there for worldwide acclaim.

Harry Highpants has been selected for the 2008 White Ravens stand at Bologna. This is a hugely unexpected honour, and really, the only way to do it justice would be to fly over to Bologna, look at it on the stand, tour Italy, and then fly back. If anybody wants to fund this trip for me, time is running out.
