Banana Lounge Broadcasting Fills, Triple R

A monkish Tony Martin and me on the set of
Angus ML Sampson’s short film, The Last Supper.

The Two Tones will be filling in for Dave Graney and Elizabeth McCarthy on Banana Lounge Broadcasting for the three weeks after Christmas (29/12/09, 5/1/10, 12/1/10).

We have Daniel Kitson visiting on Tuedsay 12th Janunary at 1pm, but the other seven hours are currently as voidish and desolate as the first fifty minutes of  Wall-E. When in doubt, we'll plug the @scrivenersfancy twitter phenomenon.

Sam Pang's Last Show

On the 11th of December, Sam Pang farewelled the Breakfasters after five terrific years. He dug deep to produce some heartfelt thankyous, despite his longheld opinion that thankyous are boring. In his final moments, he had this memorable observation on sincerity. 'Sincerity's easy. You just have to pretend you mean what you're saying.'

As tradition now dictates, I did deliver a song. It's called 'The Last Sam's Song' and it's only seeing the video that I realise how few rock stars wear purple cardigans. Thank you to Albie (youtube's Deano 647) for putting it up on the net.
