For four years, I’ve been a part of the Breakfasters on Triple R (102.7 FM). Triple R is a jewel in the Melbourne cultural landscape, supported by more than 10,000 subscribers who put up their hard-earned to ensure there’s at least one station on the air that’s not giving away mobile phones.

It emerged on the show that in 1990, after working several months as a stock boy in Intimate Apparel at Diamaru, my party trick at pubs was to woo women by naming an A to Z of bra brands. Spurred into action and with Fee and Sam chanting ‘Let’s go sicko, let’s go’, these glory days were revisited as the listeners compiled a fresh A-Z for 2005. The last three letters filled were NQ and R, which seemed to about sum things up.
