Stanger v the Mayor

For several years, I’ve whittled away acres of valuable writing time by playing AFL Dream Team with my team, the Maribyrnong Mustangs. This year, I’ve found the solution. I’ll write about Dream Team. Then when I muck around with my team for twenty or thirty hours per week, I’ll be able to get all uppity at the detractors inside my own head and tell them that it’s actually work.

The Mayor is my friend and fellow obsessive, Chris Daffey, who is also the author of the hilarious primary school memoir, ‘A Girl, A Smock and A Simple Plan’ (Penguin Books, 2004).

Our columns are compiled here. http://www.afl.com.au/stangervthemayorarchive/tabid/15993/default.aspx
The weekly update comes out on Monday morning on the AFL website.
